    Nexus CDs are Here!

    Our debut CD "Latin Dreams - Music from and inspired by Latin America" is finally here!  The CD features works that were all arranged or wirtten by our own Conni Ellisor and Patricia Rudisill.  World-renown cellist Sara Sant'Ambrogio is the featured soloist and 2 works by Astor Piazzolla.

    Nexus Records first CD

    The Nexus Chamber Orchestra just finished recording its first CD.  Our debut CD is compilation of works from or inspired by Latin America and all works were arranged or composed by our resident composers/arrangers Conni Ellisor and Patricia Rudisill.  Featured soloist on the album was cellist Sara Sant'Ambrosio on new arrangements of 2 or Astor Piazzola's most famous works, "Oblivion" and "Libertango".

    The CD is in the mixing and master stage at the moment but we will let you know the moment it is available for sale.  You will love this album!

    Nexus at BUMC Chapel

    The Nexus Chamber Orchestra is pleased to announce the resumption of our "Third Sunday Afternoon" concerts at the Brentwood United Methodist Church Chapel as part of the BUMC Third Sunday concert series. Nexus will be performing at 4 of these concerts in 2013 beginning tith February concert. Please check back with our website for details of that, and future concerts, and/or sign up for our newsletter to be automatically informed of upcoming concerts!  

    Nexus receives Grant

    The Nexus Chamber Orchestra just was awarded its first grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission.  This grant will be used to help fund the creation of a CD featuring the Nexus Chamber Orchestra as well as local composers and soloists.  We are still firming up the detail and will you know more details when they are available.
